Support At Home:
Physiotherapy, OT and Exercise Physiology
Proactive reporting, short waitlists, and a team that already understands the system. Clinic and home visits across Northern NSW and SEQ.
What Care Coordinators Need to Know
Support at Home changed the funding rules. Here's how allied health works under the new system.
Support at Home replaced Home Care Packages in November 2025, combining HCP and Short-Term Restorative Care into a single system with eight funding classifications and quarterly budget releases.
The key change for allied health: physiotherapy, OT, and exercise physiology are classified as clinical care — fully government funded with no participant contribution. Your clients can access allied health at any classification level at no out-of-pocket cost.
We've been delivering under Support at Home since day one. We know the service categories, the reporting requirements, and the funding rules — so your coordinators don't need to explain the system to us.
Key Facts
8 funding classifications — from $10,731/yr (Level 1) to $78,106/yr (Level 8)
Allied health = clinical care — fully government funded, $0 participant contribution
Quarterly budgets — released July, October, January, April
Restorative Care Pathway — up to 16 weeks intensive care, 2 episodes/year
Existing HCP clients — automatically transitioned, no reapplication needed
