Jake Hughes is a dedicated physiotherapist who graduated from The University of Queensland in 2014 with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies. As the first physiotherapist Optimum ever hired, Jake joined the team in 2014 and has been part of the company's remarkable growth from three people to 85+. Now a partner in the business, he leads the Grafton clinic team. Jake has a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, helping clients return to the activities they love with confidence. He is passionate about providing practical, evidence-based care tailored to each individual.


Emmanuel Okedare

Physiotherapist
Emmanuel Okedare is an experienced Physiotherapist at Grafton Clinic, with over 14 years of clinical expertise. A graduate of the University of Ibadan (2010), he specialises in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, delivering personalised, evidence-based care.

Cynthia Onyekwelu is a physiotherapist who graduated in Nigeria in 2019 and has experience across private practice, hospital, and community rehabilitation settings. She has a strong background in orthopaedics, sports, ergonomics, and occupational health, and is passionate about helping people recover from injury, improve function, and achieve their full potential. Known for her positive energy and person-centred approach, Cynthia is dedicated to promoting safe, healthy, and active lifestyles for all.

Physiotherapist

Oluchi is a Physiotherapist with over 5 years of experience, specializing in musculoskeletal care, pelvic health, and community-based rehabilitation. She delivers personalized, evidence-based interventions that enhance function, independence, and quality of life
.A graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka( B.MR 2019), Oluchi has a strong interest in musculoskeletal conditions and elderly community care. She is known for being empathetic, goal-driven, and committed to achieving meaningful outcomes for every patient.

Sam Kilah

Exercise Physiology - Team Leader

Sam Kilah is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Team Leader at Optimum Allied Health, providing evidence‑based exercise rehabilitation across Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, Aged Care, and NDIS services. Working from the Grafton and Yamba clinics, he supports clients with chronic disease, musculoskeletal injuries, oncology care, and long‑term physical capacity goals through practical, tailored exercise programs. Outside of work, Sam is an avid runner who enjoys exploring local trails and staying active outdoors.

Harrison Walker

Exercise Physiologist

Harry is an Exercise Physiologist working across the Yamba and Grafton clinics, having joined Optimum Allied Health in 2025. He takes a holistic, community‑focused approach to exercise prescription and works across NDIS, DVA, Medicare, WorkCover, strength and conditioning, and is certified in Tai Chi‑based movement practices. Outside the clinic, Harry enjoys playing golf and is also an active AFL player.


Katie Hunn

Occupational Therapist

Katie is an experienced occupational therapist with over twenty years in aged care across England and Australia. As part of the Optimum team, she provides occupational therapy services across Grafton, Coffs Harbour, and the wider Clarence Valley and Mid North Coast.

Katie delivers holistic, client-centred aged care OT with a focus on wellness and reablement. Her expertise includes functional assessments, home modifications, assistive technology, falls prevention, and rehabilitation for older adults. Katie is dedicated to helping our ageing community return to a safe, dignified, and fulfilling life following injury or illness.

He is very good at his job and I would highly recommend him!
