What Sets Optimum Health Apart Regarding Physiotherapy and Podiatry in the Gold Coast

  • When it comes to physiotherapy, podiatry, and all our other services, Optimum Health strives to deliver exceptional care at every appointment. Here are a few of the aspects that set us apart.
  • Premium service without the premium price. We always aim for the best possible care and service, whether we’re responding to your enquiry or providing physiotherapy services in your home.
  • Community involvement. We are a small, local company and part of the communities we serve. At the same time, we are big enough to compete with large national providers when it comes to price and quality.
  • A one-stop-shop. We are a one-stop-shop for people and organisations requiring allied health services in residential aged care facilities, home visits, or in-clinic care.
  • A range of services. We offer a wide range of services to ensure that you can get the care you need, from pre-employment medicals and workplace health and wellness programs to physiotherapy and occupational therapy in the Gold Coast.
  • Advanced techniques. We use modern technology and methods to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of conditions, and we keep up with the latest research to continue providing top-notch care.

Prepare for Your Visit to Your Gold Coast Physio

If you’re meeting with us for the first time, there are a few things you can do to ensure that you get the most out of your appointment.
  • Keep track of your symptoms. Be prepared to answer questions such as what symptoms you are experiencing, when they started, how long they usually last, whether they seem to be related to any particular activity, what you have tried already, and what seems to relieve them.
  • Bring a list of all medications you take. Your physiotherapist will need to know what medications you take, including supplements, as well as what surgical procedures you’ve had in the past. Be sure to share all the information you have, even if you don’t think it’s related to the issue you are currently experiencing.
  • Write down any questions and instructions. Before your appointment, please take a few minutes to write down any questions you want to ask, as it can be easy to forget these during your session. Also, take notes of any specific instructions you receive or make sure that you receive them in print so that nothing slips your mind later.
  • Wear comfortable clothing. You can save time and hassle by wearing comfortable clothing that makes it easy to access the injured or affected body part. Your clothing should be loose and allow you to move freely, such as shorts and sneakers. Avoid slip-on shoes or shoes that don’t offer any support or cushioning.
At your first visit, you can expect many questions as your physio gets to know you and your condition and develops a treatment plan tailored to your needs. You will also receive a physical exam that allows your physio to observe your movement and other things that help them understand how to assist you in achieving the best possible outcome.
